CU Pesca is looking for a General Administrator

Job purpose

The role of the General Administrator is to assist with new and existing fisheries and chain of custody certifications, working within the boundaries set out in the Scheme Certification Requirements. This role involves liaising with a wide range of people including internal team members, clients and stakeholders. The provision of good customer service and accurate work within set timescales is crucial.

Administrative Duties

  • Perform general administrative tasks across different departments
  • Discussing organisation and scheduling of tasks
  • Assisting with document checks and submissions (notifications, reports etc.)
  • Act as a point of contact
  • Enquiry handling (calls / emails)
  • Office coordination

Skills

  • Organisational ability / multi-tasking
  • Time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word and Excel)

Education and Experience

  • GCSE level (or Equivalent) – English and Mathematics
  • Practical working experience in a role requiring a large degree of organisation skills, working with the responsibility of managing their own duties on a day to day basis.
  • Desirable - Business or Administrative qualification in further education and beyond.

Mobility

The post holder is expected to be based at the Control Union Pesca head office in Lymington and may require flexibility at peak times of workload

Job Type: Full-time, flexible working available

Salary: £15,000.00 to £17,000.00 /year
